“Summer on the Summit” Juried Art Show July 1st-July 31st, 2010

Breckenridge receives visitors from every corner of the planet! We encourage you to participate in our Summer Theme Juried Show. All art mediums are welcome!

Cash Prizes: $100—First Place, $50—Second Place, $25—Third Place, People’s Choice Award, Plus: Anyone receiving an award will have the option of a month-long show of their work at the ARTS ALIVE! gallery within the year.

Summit County Arts Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the arts in Summit County. ARTS ALIVE! Gallery is a cooperative gallery managed by the Summit County Arts Council and operated by Summit county artists who display their work in the gallery. ARTS ALIVE! features ceramics, watercolor, oil and acrylic painting, photography, pastels, printmaking, fiber arts and jewelry.

ELIGIBILITY: This Summer Juried Show is open to all artists, 18 years of age or over, working in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, photography, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, fiber art, digital art, and printmaking. All work must be original (no reproductions), comply with copyright laws and completed within the last two years.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: All artwork must be original (no reproductions) and comply with copyright laws. Frame outside dimensions can be no larger than 20” x 24” (entire piece must be within these dimensions). Sculpture and three-dimensional work must be less than 12”x12”x12” and weight under 100 pounds. Arts Alive Gallery will provide pedestals for all 3-D artwork.
